Perhaps, it’s no surprise that a man without many boundaries would also have experimented with illegal substances. Back during his school days in the 1970s, he tried hallucinogens and psychedelics. Often, he smoked and took Quaaludes and even LSD. Though, it was a bad trip with LSD that ended his experimental phase. Also, as a control freak it did not seem to fit his personality.

Well, we have delved head first into a lot of the noise surrounding this notorious host, but maybe we should take a step back. Let’s be fair and talk about his initial success in the 90s. Back in 1990 he began hosting a late night radio show called The Howard Stern Show. It was on WWOR-TV and immediately became a hit. In fact, his ratings surpassed Saturday Night Live! Thus, began his acclaimed career.
