Critique of Selena In Bad Taste

Okay, this man is not known for being particularly sensitive in light of tragedies. Thus, it was not surprising that he drew criticism when insulting the late Selena Quintanilla. Not to mention, this insult happened in 1995, right after her murder. He said, “Spanish people have the worst taste in music…This music does absolutely nothing for me. Alvin and the Chipmunks have more soul.” Needless to say, this infuriated grieving fans and there was even a disorderly conduct arrest warrant that went out for him in Texas. Rightfully so, the radio host apologized on air the following week in Spanish. He claimed his comments were not meant to add to the pain of fans and family, but rather made in satire.
