Half wolf dog and half German Shepherd, this is Shana. It was an intense snow storm and an elderly couple named Norman and Eve got trapped in snow. Luckily, Shana dug out a tunnel and pulled them free. Afterwards, the couple was eternally grateful to this heroic dog.

Took A Bullet For Family
During a break in at the Patel family home, Moti, their five year old German Shepherd immediately confronted the masked intruder. Moti barked at him and the intruder actually shot the dog. Thankfully, Moti recovered and even got the 2007 Dog of the Year award!
