What Could Have Been
Yes, we only got three seasons and also three movies, but Schwartz had more than a thought about a fourth Gilligan’s Island film. So, he wanted the story to revolve around nuclear war and the castaways thinking they were all that’s left on Earth. Then, Ginger would marry the Professor, while Mary Ann would wed Gilligan. After the two couples had kids and Gilligan’s son was 20 years old, he would sail off, discovering everything was still in tact. Everyone would hear it on their radio, but of course, Gilligan would break it by accident before the disclaimer.
Dream Sequences
Now, about those dream sequences…Not only were they a fan favorite, but the actors and actresses loved these scenes as well! Well, think about it. Those dreams allowed the characters to finally leave their island. So they could be “anywhere,” which gave a lot of flexibility. Yeah, makes sense.
