Back to the millionaire Natalie Schafer! This one may surprise people considering this actress was so wealthy on and off Gilligan’s Island. Anyway, she did in fact perform every one of her own stunts. Keep in mind, she was about 65 years old at the time! How impressive is that? Some of the stunts included falling and sinking into quicksand. Oh and falling into the famous lagoon.

From the entire Gilligan’s Island crew, Dawn Wells made out the best financially from the whole show franchise. It all goes back to her husband at the time. He was a television agent and advised her to add a special clause in fine print on her contract. Within the clause, it said she was to receive royalties for every syndication Gilligan’s Island earns from then on. Now, when you consider that the show even plays reruns today, this is incredible. That means Wells still receives checks from playing Mary Ann!
