Tone Deaf
Unfortunately, Dawn Wells just did not have a singing voice. This became a bit of an issue when the entire cast was supposed to sing together. Therefore, Wells improvised on the spot and was able to lip sync along, so as to not ruin the harmony. Some say she should have taken singing lessons, but what she did seemed to work fine!

Fans caught on pretty quick to this one. Maybe you didn’t think twice, but there was something a little off about the Professor’s role. So, obviously his character was very handy. I mean, the man could make the most incredible things with random things found on the island. How is it he couldn’t fix the S.S. Minnow then? Of course, most understood that if he did, then Gilligan’s Island would simply end. Thus, we had to accept this.
