The Pilate Stone

Caesarea, Israel became the ground where the Pilate Stone was discovered during an excavation. On the stone was an inscription that mentioned Pontius Pilate who was the head of the Roman province of Judea under Emperor Tiberius. Before this discovery, the only evidence of Pilate’s existence was in biblical texts which raised many question marks, but this evidence dispelled those doubts.
