Turbo
With his ability to go from zero to hero and dashing good looks, Galen Tomlinson was a dream come true for the producers. As Turbo, he was on the show from 1990 to 1996, took a break, and returned in 1996. He auditioned for the show without seeing a single episode, which is pretty unbelievable. These days, he resides in Southern California and works as the director and head coach of the Coast North County Volleyball Club. With twenty years of teaching to his name, we do not doubt that he is an expert in the sport. He has a niece called Carli who went on to become a professional player in Italy.
Nitro
Dan Clark joined the cast of the show when it first came out. At the time, he was already a prominent athlete who had a brief stint in the NFL. On the show, he was called Nitro and faced many contenders, usually winning against them in the end. When the show came to an end, he started to act and wrote a 2009 memoir. After he suffered a heart attack, he reevaluated his life and wrote another book. In 2007, F Dying came out and discussed what life was like after his health problems. He has also made a name for himself by founding a health program that tackles childhood obesity called Ten Thousand Pounds.
