Siren

It is impossible to deny just how integral to the show Siren was. Shelley Beattie showed all of us that you do not need to slow down just because of a disability! She was only three years old when she became deaf after accidentally eating aspirin. It was a good thing that her hearing got better over the years. This Western Oregon State College graduate was a heptathlete, gymnast, and bodybuilder. At one point, she also worked as a counselor at a group home and helped children in need. In 2008, however, she failed to conquer her personal demons and passed away three days after she attempted to commit suicide.

Jazz (The Second)

Even though Victoria Gay is the second person to use the Jazz title, she made it her own. She was known to be fierce during battles, so people always paid attention to her when she was on the screen. At first, she wanted to be a contender. However, the producers liked her and asked her to be a Gladiator on a fulltime basis. She is now working in real estate in Humble, Texas. It seems that her son got the athletic gene from her! Barry Bowman was on the basketball team of Southwestern Louisiana, after all. It is neat to hear that Jazz had been busy working on a petroleum technology degree before she joined the show.
