He was a legendary entertainer who committed his life to giving back to American troops all over the planet. Hope lived to a a right old age of 100 when he passed away in 2003. His final words were directed to his wife who had asked him where he would like to be buried, “Surprise me” he had said.

Marvin Gaye

Gaye was a singer, songwriter and record producer who shaped the sound of Motown in the 1960s. Since his untimely death in 1984, he has been honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His final words are so tragic, “Mother, I’m going to get my things and get out of this house. Father hates me and I’m never coming back.” Shortly after that, his father shot him dead in their LA home.
