The Day By Day Encounters
In the beginning, Kevin was very careful not to alarm the lioness and was always attentive to her needs. There were even times when he would just stand and watch her for hours outside the lions’ enclosure. There were some days when the lions were not in a good mood because of various reasons. It could be simply because of the weather or it could be because of another lion in the den.

But even though he couldn’t always get near the animals, he always made sure that they could see him each day. For him, taking care of these animals is just like taking care of humans. A person needs to show compassion and understanding. Above all, one must devote his or her time. For Kevin, he would include playtime with the lions in his schedule as much as he can. He would often refer to these encounters as “office meetings.” It sounds just like a regular job in the city!
