Feeding Time
Although there is no problem in feeding adult lions, the lioness that had just delivered her cub needs to be treated with extra caution. Her body is still recovering from the ordeal of childbirth and just like humans, female lions can be very ferocious when aggravated, even to those of the same kind. Kevin understood this challenge but it was feeding time. The lions may have the tendency to remain calm during their feeding time, but a single mistake can easily make them agitated and alarmed.

Kevin and some of the staff members – his aids – still couldn’t leave even though they have finished bringing the lions’ food to their den. They have to stay there and watch patiently as the lions have their fill. Their task is to make sure that the lioness and her cubs get to eat their meals. Was there really a need for them to watch the lions eat?
