Though the younger generation might not recognize this gentleman, the older generation will be pretty happy to hear that Rip Rogers is alive and kicking. He won the NWA Mid-American Heavyweight Championship once, but everything he earned in his career disappeared and he now has no money left. Like One Man Gang, Rip Rogers also set up a page on GoFundMe, but not many people wanted to help him since they think he was the one to blame for losing everything. A few of his old fans helped him out, however, for old time’s sake.

After the professional wrestling career of Bret Sergeant Hart or The Hitman ended, he went on to become an actor and a writer. He practically changed how we view wrestling today, not to mention he amazingly succeeded in holding onto championships for five decades. You might recognize his voice from various shows like The Simpsons and you might have read or come across his column because he has been a writer at the Calgary Sun for several years now.
