The Fabulous Moolah is legendary. She was one of the first women wrestlers ever! She won the NWA World Women’s Championship in 1956 and held the title for 28 years! She joined the WWF in the 80s and 90s.

She was the first woman inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1995 and became the oldest champion in history when she won the WWF Women’s Championship when she was 76 years old in 1999. After she retired she shared her home and mentored many female wrestlers. She died at the age of 84 in 2007 at her home in South Carolina.

Mae Young

Mae Young is another legend. She joined the WWF in 1999 and had a reoccurring comedic role with her best friend, The Fabulous Moolah. After retiring she moved to California to become a Christain evangelist and take care of her sick mother.

She lived with The Fabulous Moolah in South Carolina until Moolah’s death. She is in the WWE Hall of Fame and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. Mae Young died in 2014 in South Carolina.
