Next up is the all-American, famous gymnast Gabby Douglas. Also a member of the Fierce Five in the London Olympics, Douglas went on to win gold in the team and individual all-around competitions. Four years later, she qualified for Rio and became part of the team known as the Final Five. Once again, she won gold, this time in the team competition. But Douglas is remembered for so much more than just her medal wins. What makes her so remarkable?

Certainly, one of the most impressive things about Douglas is all her historic firsts and the unprecedented number of records she has shattered. As an African American, she was the first in Olympic history to win an individual all-around. She was also the first to ever win gold in both team and individual at the same Olympics.
