June Byers
June Byers was one of the first women wrestling legends. She wrestled in the 50s and 60s. Her claim to fame is the held the Women’s World Championship for 10 years and is in the Wrestling Hall of Fame. After she retired from wrestling she moved to Texas and became a real estate agent. She died of pneumonia in 1998.
Sensational Sherri
Sherri began her career in the AWA in the early 80s. She won the championship in 1985. In 1987 she debuted in the WWE and won the Women’s Championship! In the later 90s, she managed different male wrestlers including “Macho Man” Randy Savage. She is in the WWE Hall of Fame.
