Zelina Vega

Native to Queens, New York, Zelina Vega grew up watching wrestling with her family. She said it was because of her father she entered the wrestling business. He, unfortunately, was a victim during the September 11 terrorist attack. She started training when she was 17 and began her professional wrestling career in the National Wrestling Superstars in 2010. She then performed in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and on the independent circuit before getting picked up by the WWE in 2013. She started appearing in NXT events in 2017, and in Smackdown in 2018. Outside of the wrestling world, she participates in many charitable causes including Habitat For Humanity and Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. She also is an actress and will be featured in the upcoming film Fighting with My Family.

Daughter of hall of famer Jimmy Snuka, Tamina began training in Florida after receiving the Lia Maivia Scholarship. She premiered in 2010 on Raw playing a villain. In 2011 she was drafted to SmackDown. She was forced to take a break after sustaining a back injury during a match but returned as AJ Lee’s bodyguard in 2013. She returned to wrestling and then injured her ACL severely. She underwent surgery and took a long break before returning to Raw. She participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble and placed 7th. She was again injured and underwent another surgery. Outside of the ring she is a mother of two and an actress. She voiced a character in the Disney movie Hercules.
