Tiberius
Tiberius was Augustus’ successor and reigned from 14 AD to 37 AD. He was the son of Tiberius Claudius Nero and Livia Drusilla, and the second Roman Emperor. T.C. Nero and Livia Drusilla in the year T.C. He was born on November 16, 42 BC in Rome and died on March 16, 37 AD in Miseno. He was the senator’s son from Rome. “In a free state there should be freedom of speech and thought” he earlier declared.
What Tiberius Really Looked Like
He died at the age of 78, albeit the actual cause of death is still unknown. Some say he was poisoned by Caligula, while others say he was suffocated by his blankets. The Tiberius Palace on Rome’s Palatine Hill is a must-see attraction. It is currently a popular tourist spot, so pay it a visit if you are ever in the area.
