Not Easy
Rachel could not wait to start the process. Of course, she also felt a little nervous and scared. She was given treatments to take that would get her ready for the process. It went off without a hitch! In September 2015, the in-vitro fertilization process started. They kept their fingers crossed for success.
The Odds
It was not easy at all. Rachel had to take hormone treatments for several months, but there was no guarantee that it was going to work. Apparently, there was only a ten percent chance that it would work. This is incredible because an attempt goes for $10,000 to $15,000! Insurance rarely covers it too.
