A lot of people might not consider it, but this was the best thing for Rachel and Aaron. They ended up getting triplets and got to experience pregnancy too. Rachel found it to be a “beautiful and unique” part of life. She feels grateful that there are “brave and selfless” people who donate their embryos as well.

They want embryo adoption to be more common. Millions of embryos are going to waste because so few people know that this is an option. They used ones that had been in storage for 12 years. “We were not saying that those lives are any more important than the lives of the babies and children waiting to be adopted all across the world. No, they are not any more important, but they are no less important either. All of our children’s lives are valued,” Rachel said.
