Julia Roberts
We’re confident you’re familiar with Julia Roberts. She was one of the most well-known celebrities in recent memory. She became a household name in her 50s when she played with Richard Gere in the film Pretty Woman. The actress was not a one-hit-wonder, mind you. Since then, she’s starred in films like My Best Friend’s Wedding, Runaway Bride, Erin Brockovich, Ocean’s Eleven, and Notting Hill, which have received both critical and financial acclaim. She was most recently seen in the 2017 film Wonder.
Brigitte Bardot
Brigette Bardot was a dancer before breaking into the acting world in the 1950s. In 1956, she starred in the Robert Vadim picture And God Created Women, which gave her her big break. She was “undeniably a creation of superlative craftsmanship,” according to one American critic, and her arrival on the Hollywood scene was such a big deal that Simone de Beauvoir authored an essay titled Brigitte Bardot and the Lolita Syndrome. She has since become a proponent of animal rights. The actress, on the other hand, has been penalized five times for inciting racial hatred.
