Lieutenant Uhura – Nichelle Nichols
Nichelle Nichols brings many conversations with her amazing career. A legendary Star-Trek character, playing Lieutenant Uhura, she made waves in the television industry as she played the first African-American character to not be a servant. This was vital for the progression of the film industry going further. At one point, it was rumored that she was considering leaving the show, but after a personal request from Martin Luther King Jr, she decided to stay. When Star-Trek ended, she continued her acting career, starring in other films and series. Additionally, she released two music albums. Even at the age of 88 we still think she looks stunning!
Lt. Tasha Yar – Denise Crosby
Denise Crosby starred as Chief of Security Tasha Yar in Star Trek: The Next Generation. In the following seasons, however, she starred as Yar’s child, half Romulan-Commander, Sela. After Star Trek ended, Crosby continued her acting career, appearing in both movies and television shows. Some of the shows include NCIS, Prison Break, and The Exterminator. The actress is the mother of August Sylk.
