She played the role excellently and was able to continue her success in the acting world afterward as a consequence. In her career, she has thus far been the recipient of an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony Award. She was also the second black woman to win an Oscar. Most recently, she has been starring in a popular talk show, The View.

Linda Park claimed the role of Hoshi Sato on Star Trek not so long after her graduation from Boston University. When the franchise came to its the conclusion, she starred in many series and films, including NCIS, The Affair, Lovestruck, and For All Mankind. Most recently, she has been active as a dance student, as well as a mother to a sweet 3-year-old child.
