Sure, those kinder than most might assume she was simply having cash flow issues. But let us tell you that it was a little more complicated than that. Keep in mind that she had not paid for her 11 Howard room just yet. Not only that, but she did not provide them with any credit card information whatsoever. They treated her as well as they could since she made them believe she was a German socialite who was hoping to buy a location that happened to be in the possession of the hotel owner. Payment via wire transfer was no problem, but they had not received a cent a month and a half since her arrival.
