The Revolutionary War
The American Revolutionary War erupted in 1775 and ended in 1783. Once the conflict came to an end, the Thirteen Colonies gained independence at last. This then led to the foundation of the United States of America. The trade of indigo crashed several years after the Declaration of Independence was signed.
