Casablanca

“You know how much I loved you,” Ingrid Bergman sobbed desperately. “How much I still love you.” Swelling orchestra music and there it is, one of the most beautiful kisses in cinema history. For a long time, Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman were the epitome of the tragic couple who can only live together, but are not allowed to because the world is not a Hollywood movie after all. “Casablanca” shows impressively how highly dramatic and yet intimate a kiss can be.
