The Notebook is a 2004 romance film. It was directed by Nick Cassavetes and written by Jeremy Leven and Jan Sardi, based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. The book is a love story that happened mostly in South Carolina in the 1940s. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams kissed passionately in the rain on Day One.
