Many countries have issues with homeless dogs roaming the streets. However, this population has appeared to have adapted in Russia! Stray dogs travel on and off the Russian subway system at any given time of day, earning the nickname “metro dogs”. According to the Russian biologist named Dr. Andrey Poyarkov, these dogs actually understand that they can come into the city, and return to their homes in the evening with the use of their subway.
