If you wish to send flowers to that beautiful Russian lady that you just met, make sure to send the flowers in odd numbers. Most Westerners don’t really care about the number of flowers they give. In Russia, however, it should be in odd numbers for a reason. If you happen to send an even number of flowers, they will take it to mean that the flowers are for a funeral!
