Before Faith Hill made it big as a country artist, she once auditioned to be a backup singer for Reba during tours. However, she was rejected for the position. The part went to Paula Kay Evans, who died in the plane crash in 1991.

When she was being interviewed by Larry King, Faith said she did not get the part because she was not good enough at the time. It must be chilling to think that she might not be here if she had been qualified for the position back then! Although we are sad for the people who died, we are glad she is still around.
