In 1997, Reba released her 20th studio album called What If It’s You. It became a hit that many considered it to be her epic comeback from her slight decline the year before. The lead single on the album is called The Fear Of Being Alone and ended up at No. 1 on the charts. How Was I To Know also landed at the top, while I’d Rather Ride Around With You did well at No. 2. She recorded What If for charity, and it ended at the No. 23 spot. She donated all profits from the song to the Salvation Army, which is admirable. At the time, she was nearing a new chapter in her career.

Her 2001 album is called Greatest Hits Vol. 3: I’m a Survivor, which came with three more hit singles. She was officially the most certified female country music artist ever. By then, she took a hiatus from the industry to star in a Broadway production of Annie Get Your Gun.
