As far as his career passer rating, he was rated a 69.4. However, after the NFL he opened a fancy sports bar before becoming a TV personality on local and Fox Sports. He founded a non-profit called the Harrington Family Foundation to help students pursuing higher education in Oregon. He was hit by an SUV while biking in Portland, but luckily, he survived with some injuries.

Byron was a star during his days at Marshall and even finished a drive with a broken shin against Akron! Sadly, his injuries affected his NFL career. Back in 2000, he was the MVP fr the Music City Bowl. He threw 11,903 yards and had 89 touchdowns with only 28 interceptions while a tMarshall. From 7th overall in the 2003 NFL Draft, the Jaguar player only lasted four seasons with them. Then he played for several teams, like the Steelers, with whom he won the 2009 Super Bowl as Ben Roethlisberger’s backup.
