Steve Young

The 13 years Steve Young played for the San Francisco 49ers were probably his best. When he decided to retire from football, he held the record for the highest passing rate of all time. When acting didn’t cut it for Young, he went on to activism and eventually ended up as an advisor for ASCEND. This organization takes on projects like assisting poor African countries with basic technology, and health and educational products.

Warren Moon

Warren Moon’s football career was mainly spent as a quarterback for the Houston Oilers. He made history too when he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, making him the first undrafted African-American to achieve this feat. He has now partnered up with Steve Raible, working for the Seahawks network radio.
