Visiting Pakistan
In 1996, Princess Diana went to visit Lahore, Pakistan in order to help raise funds for Khans Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital. She was advised not to go on the trip due to the political tensions between Great Britain and Pakistan at the time, but Diana wouldn’t let anything stand between her and a good cause.
