The airline eventually found out that even though she wasn’t on the plane, the luggage was transported to Bordeaux. Even though all the baggage is checked before the plane takes off, airline security is meant to make sure that when a passenger checks in their luggage but does not board the flight, the bags are going to be offloaded.
