Campbell has previously said that a big advantage of living in an aircraft is that planes are constructed using strong metal. On the other hand, traditional homes are made of wood and the like. This was what he told Business Insider: “wood is, in my view, a terrible building material. It biodegrades – it’s termite chow and microbe chow. Or it’s firewood; depends upon which happens first.”
