A Coconut Water
Perhaps it was loud and busy in the restaurant, so we’ll cut the server some slack here. One diner ordered a “coconut water,” but the waiter heard “Coke and water.” It’s easy to understand the mistake here since the two sound practically the same, especially if they are spoken fast. Price-wise, the diner was probably better off with a Coke and water, since coconut water is $2 per cup while a glass of Coke costs around $1.35 on average. Water at restaurants is pretty much free of charge. In terms of saving money, the wrong order is better here.
One Chili Burger
A Twitter user shared that his friend got this after ordering a chili burger. We’re not even sure if that is a green pepper or a pickle on top. “I ordered a chili burger… I need to communicate better,” the friend said. There are no tomatoes, lettuce, etc., anywhere to be seen, but the fries look good. According to its own Wikipedia page, a chili burger is supposed to be a burger patty topped with some chili con carne (or meat chili). Fun fact: the chili burger is originally from LA. It’s unclear, though, which restaurant ruined LA’s recipe like this.
