The restaurant might have run out of large cups. At Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks, you get your double espresso in one paper cup, but this customer decided to have coffee at a sit-down place. Their double espresso came in two small cups stacked together rather than in one regular cup. Unlike the others on this list, this one is edible, if perhaps a bit messy (and even a little passive-aggressive). “I ordered a double… So that’s what I got. Duh,” the less-than-amused customer said.

One Coffee With Cream
A language barrier is likely to blame here (though this still looks delicious). When one customer ordered “coffee with cream” at a German restaurant, the barista might not have understood that that’s how English-speakers usually order coffee, so they served up a cup of coffee with a plate of whipped cream. The barista probably thought it was such a weird order. Luckily, it looks like the coffee isn’t black, so the customer didn’t have to drink a bitter cup. While we don’t know which coffee shop they went to, we do know that coffee in Germany costs $3.44 a cup on average.
