Kate repeatedly attempted to use a knife to stab her pregnant daughter while blaming Dorothy for all of her issues. Due to Dorothy’s misfortune, Kevin, a beautiful baby boy, was born. She was afraid her mother might harm the child unintentionally. For three years, Dorothy endured unremitting fear for the welfare of her kid. Exhausted by the suffering and misfortune that had befallen her in such a short period of time, Dorothy then made the decision to place Kevin in an orphanage.
