CAREN MARSH-DOLL, 99 YEARS OLD
Not just a Hollywood actor, Caren Marsh-Doll is a professional dancer as well. She’s most known for working as the dance double in projects such as Ziegfeld Girl and The Wizard of Oz. She is one of the few silent film actresses who are still alive. Did you know she was in a plane crash in 1949? She had to get her left foot amputated as a result, but she was able to keep dancing.
MARGE CHAMPION, 98 YEARS OLD
The one responsible for the dance choreography Snow White performed in the animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Marge Champion is the dancer who brought grace into the role. In order to retrace her movements, the animators used a technique called rotoscoping. Now that she’s 98, she’s enjoying retirement.
