An English pop singer-songwriter, Vera Lynn is better known as ‘The Forces’ Sweetheart’. Aside from singing and writing music, she also did some acting. Her nickname was a result of her musical career beginning in the midst of the Second World War, leading her to sing and entertain the soldiers. Funny enough, she recently released an album called ‘Vera Lynn 100’ in honor of her 100th birthday. She even reached the top 3 spot on the charts!

While Gene Reynolds was a great actor, his career was short-lived. He received a letter from the army recruitment office, leading him to join. He spent several years in the army, and afterward, he returned to the acting industry. This time around, he focused on directing, producing, and creating the hit TV show M*A*S*H. As a result, he received many awards.
