While it is true that the boys displayed heroism, you should know that they are not the only ones who have done something like this. The Award of Exception Recognition was also given to Juan Dolph, Jasmine Simpson, Erin O’Connor, and John Eddy. These folks have also been awarded for their efforts.

Mind you, this is not all that they gave out on that special night of the year. Apart from the honorable award that they gave the four teenage boys, they also gave two more awards to outstanding citizens of the city. The Calgary Police Service also gave the Award of Exceptional Recognition for Valour as well as the Award of Exceptional Recognition for Life Saving.
