The four boys were invited to the Chief’s Award Gala. Aside from that, they were going to be recognized for their services and bravery to the city of Calgary. They did the honorable thing when they had the option to fight or flee, after all. We hope that others would do the same thing in their shoes.

The Calgary Police Service holds the Chief’s Awards Gala every year. The event is meant to honor citizens together with sworn and civilian members for their admirable acts of courage and commitment to the community.
