As a part-time counselor who works with people recovering from substance abuse, Natalie started thinking about launching a YouTube channel to reach out to more people. In the first video she posted, you will see Amerah, the eldest daughter, reading a letter she gave her mother for Mother’s Day. The video runs for around six minutes, and it was taken during a women’s event at Long Beach, California. After she delivered her speech, the rest of the children formed a line to hand their mother a gift. Natalie wants the channel to serve as a documentation of their lives, a testimony of her journey. The children also help out with the channel by posting about grocery shopping, fun activities, vegan food challenges, and whatever creative ideas they come up with.

During special events like Thanksgiving, Natalie tries to encourage her children to remain active and keep making a positive impact on the world. The ten kids you will find in this picture are the Suleman kids who participated in the Turkey Trot, a 5 km family run. The team spirit is evident from the matching shirts everyone is sporting. On that special day, Natalie must have been one proud momma. Her kids Isaiah, Josiah, Noah, and Maliyah won in their respective age groups! It is also fitting that their prize happened to be pumpkin pies. Thanksgiving is an important holiday for the whole family, but you will not find everyone indulging in turkey. The vegan kids were probably more excited about the pies, thank you very much!
