Chopper Differences
“Daddy! Daddy! Look! There’s a helicopter flying in the sky!” While your child might be right about what that flying thing is, you definitely refer to that flying object as a “chopper”. It doesn’t matter what kind of helicopter it is, Apache, Blackhawk or Chinook, it’s still a “chopper”.
Time Away
You gauge time in a completely different way to regular people, similar in a way to people who have served time behind bars. Since you’ve spent hours doing things most people wouldn’t, and months doing time in enemy territory, your sense of time is super different to regular people’s.
They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, but you’ve become so accustomed to being away for so long that a couple of months can feel like a couple of hours for most people.
