A very cunning and smart animal, the red fox mostly stays inside its den during the day and go out during the night. Sadly, the crew saw no sign of the mother throughout the night. They truly hoped she would return in the morning.

Western European Fox
Red foxes are the only ones who are native to Western Europe, unlike the Arctic fox which originates in Scandinavia and the corsac’s fox range extends into European Russia. Another difference between red foxes and other foxes is their size. Red foxes are actually the largest ones of the true foxes!
