The Rescue
The rescuers were sure to wear gloves to try and avoid getting their scent onto the babies. They laid out a sheet near the sewer so they would have where to put the babies once they were out and keep them safe from harm.

The First
Slowly, the firefighter reached down into the sewer and carefully picked up the first baby. The team was in shock at first glance after seeing just how small the animal was. Once placed on the sheet, the animal rolled around innocently.
