Dermontti Dawson spent 12 seasons playing in the NFL and made a fortune of around $25 million. Sadly, he made poor business decisions and ended up with a lot of debt to his name. It is a good thing that he pulled himself out of his financial troubles. He is now spending his days as one of the owners of the Washington Wild Things, which is an Independent League baseball team.

Bernie Kosar: Motivational Speaker
Bernie Kosar played for 13 seasons in the league. He was able to make around $19 million over the course of his NFL career, although he burned through it and was bankrupt by 2009. He now spends his time working as a motivational speaker, particularly about topics on leadership. He is also involved with the self-named Kosar’s Wood-Fired Grill, which is located at the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park. Not too shabby!
