John Brallier: Dentist

John Brallier made a name for himself as one of the first professional football players in the world. This happened when he joined the first formal team of the United States all the way back in 1895. Originally, he was not planning to join since he was worried about making a living wage. In the beginning, he was paid only $10 a game. He was one of the first football players to receive a paycheck! After he retired in 1907, he started practicing dentistry.
