Seeing the conditions of the cubs was truly disheartening for the fishermen. They then made a resolution to help them in every way possible. And since keeping them was not an option, the men knew they had to return the cubs to land. There, they would reunite with their mother who was waiting nearby.

They therefore started looking for a good spot on land to drop off the bear cubs. Their aim was to look for a spot on land where the mother bear would eventually find them. Even though she had previously abandoned them, it was obvious that she wanted her young ones back. At last, they found the place where they had seen the mother bear. However, several questions lingered in their minds. Was she nearby? How would she act in response?
