All you have to do is to wedge the tissue behind the last two fingers and it will help support them as they try to hold the pencil.

Grippy Socks
If you have wooden floors or tiles around your house, it is a great place to slide around in socks or to pretend you’re a skating champion. However, if your kids love running around all day in socks, they can easily slide right over and have an accident. One way to solve this is to add some puffy fabric paint to their bottom of their socks and they can have some extra grip to stop sliding across the floor.
